Cartographic Connections provides access to historic maps of Texas as well as early influential maps of the New World. The collection contains rare maps dating from the 1500s through the 1900s which illustrate the development of cartography throughout history.
W. D. Smith Commercial Photography was Fort Worth's leading commercial photographer during the mid- to late-20th century. This digital collection contains over 150 photographic negatives taken by the company during the 1940s-1950s as well as numerous 19th century Texas photographs collected by W.D. Smith.
